Wadup guys it's been a while since i've been on here.. hope all is well with you guys on ur projects

so about 4 days ago my car was stolen a couple minutes after I got home from work @5am strange right? Luckily I ended up finding the car thanks to my old man... guess the word got around or somethin but anyways ever since then i'm trippin that my car can be stolen like nothin so I needa step my game up maybe some tracking devices? Any devices that u guys know of or that you may personally have that can maybe do the job? I just installed a kill switch earlier, I put the button to start right where the lighter used to be... i'd appreciate any tips
So aside from that I've finally earned enough $$ to buy a couple more things for my regal, I was thinkin jeep steering box or astro? I know the jeep is direct bolt on and the astro has to be modified in order to fit or somethin like that but which ones better? Also getting two "lowering springs.. 3" springs are *ss s/o opgi. not matter how much I mess with the compression n rebound knobs on my shocks the ride quality is still supper bouncy. it's already messed with my exhaust brackets in the rear, the brackets that were welded on to keep it in place and from preventing noise shattered soo now I gotta get exhaust brackets or maybe just buy some similar sh*t at lowe's? I wonder if autozone could have some that'll fit. What could be another great modification 2 my suspension?

I would buy a prestige alarm system that way they can’t steal it & the alarm will go off to scary them away. I have a 85 Cutlass I have the prestige remote start alarm. When the alarm goes off it activate the kill switch you would never have a problem with that.

Oh dam I jus seen how they operate on youtube those things are wild hahah! Is it a big whoop to install em??

Car alarms are pointless; nobody pays attention to them anymore. If they want your car, they're going to get it. How did they take It? Keys left in?
that's exactly what i'm sayin.. so u think a couple of tracking devices should do the trick? and yup hotwired, honestly there's a sh*t load of dudes who have had these type of cars back in the days in my area so i'm sure they knew wasup right from the start.
the thing is that it happened AFTER i got home from work and @5am tf, someone has got to be scoping me or the car out ya know. So im forsure gonna need to have somethn to track it

I saw something (maybe here) about a guy planting an old iPhone in the car to use it's locate feature. I don't know much about them; does the GPS locater work on a dead battery?
If they hot wired it, you need to get crafty, and put the starter or ignition kill (or both) somewhere other than the known hotwire spot (like tucked into an underhood harness). I've done a couple where you use the cig lighter element to close the relay and allow it to start. Of course, you lose the lighter socket, but thieves won't know about it and if you have the element with you or hidden, they're screwed. Now, that being said, I remember back in the day they would smash the column to hit the pinion rack that goes down to the ignition switch. It still won't start because of your disabling circuits, BUT they've still ruined your column. Then, there's the good ol' snatch truck..... I've seen those under the beds of dually pickups= sneaky!

You could hardwire the phone into the electrical system with a $2 USB circuit. If they still locate with the sim card out of them, this would be a very cheap locating device. Put inside the back seat back for max range.

No it’s not hard to install at all. My guy did it in 30 minutes. Car never been stolen the attemp was made but thanks to the prestige. The key pad goes off like a pager to let you know someone is messing with your car. Everyone has a different opinion I have music & wheels on my car it’s very popular it’s been 13 years never stolen. People pay attention to alarms who would come out when they hear all that noise. We not in the 60’s where as people tend to their own business. If you can’t hear the alarm or key pad something is wrong.

All you need is a good alarm to scare the crooks away. A bold crook won’t stand around with a alarm making all that noise & horn blowing. The kill switch will prevent the car from starting. Put the box around the column so it can’t be broken, if you feel the need to get the bar run it from the gas petal to the steering wheel. Now with all that even a good crook can’t steal the car & get pass all those reinforcements in 10 minutes. Once he located something to cut all that stuff off you should be outside with the shot gun blowing him away. Lol
