Is that a cowl hood I see? That would seem to negate any rear hood bumper I guess. Just came back from an eye exam with dialation, so I can't see all that great.
How close is the exhaust to the driveshaft? How "loose" is the exhaust system. Sometimes the hangers allow it to move too much allowing sh*t to tap into a shock or whatever it shouldn't be hitting. Sounds like metal clanking into something to me.
