 That's funny stuff guys

make sure you have learned for sure......I did not lol,

my friends said to me that it was impossible for a front wheel drive dodge caravan to do a donut like a rear wheel drive camaro.........well I was the first person in my small town of 350 people ever to accomplish this task.

Here is how it happened, 6 buddies and me in the van, drive towards an intersection, go to make a u turn at 30mph, turn the steering wheel to the right, crank it back all the way to the left, hit the e-brake ( this is a foot pedal, so the steering colum was tilted all the way up) and then put the pedal to the metal. Did this 8 or 9 times, then on the last one, everyone wanted to get out and watch. So I obliged.......got half way through the donut, and boom..............blew the transmission. Split the case, we were still finding gears in the engine bay after we got the new trans in.

moral of the story, just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should.

p.s. My dad had always told me that I could have the van if the transmission blew, well when he got home, I reminded him of what he had said, and he was like "and whats your point" and I replied, "I guess the van is mine" I have never seen my dad so mad ever. so $2500 later out of my pocket over 2 years, we were on better terms, and I NEVER EVER got to drive any of my parents vehicles again.

WOW!!! Thats crazy!!1 I tried E-braking in my moms odyssey once, but that didn't work out too well, thankfully I didn't try too hard  .

If my parents would've found out I bent that wheel, I would've been in the same boat as you. My dad saw me swing the back end around a little pulling onto my road, and that was even a HUGE deal. I wouldnt be able to drive at all if they knew that  .

Thats a crazy story, I'm sure neither you or your dad will ever forget it
