I drug home the exhaust system from Summit Racing today, and it seems quite nice, all mandrel bent, and although I will have to fab the part to reach my shorty headers, seems quite complete. The included turbo mufflers are IMCO parts. It is not a PYPES system, but not bad for $200. all clamps, hangers, gaskets and header adapters are included.

I have the exact set up on my Monte..well worth the money..........I like the turbo mufflers, but am looking to replace them in the summer though with the welded thrush mufflers.....

It sounds really well...I like the way it sounds , however I want mufflers that are less restrictive...You will be very happy with them ...

I'm thiking of going to this setup... I'm looking at the X-pipe one. I actually want mine more restrictive, and plan to run cutouts. My current 3" straight is too loud, and hoping that 2.5 will quiet it down with quieter muflers, and the X-pipe will refine the sound.

... the one I was looking at for $200 is without muflers... which one did you get? Can you show me a link?

oh, I was looking at the Xpipe one, and I guess it comes assembled

Yeah its a descent system, but it does hang kinda low. I like the mufflers. They have a pretty low tone to them, pretty throaty. I'm also thinking of changing mine soon, i personally like the "Tinny" kinda crackle tone.

my exhaust has that sound right now... sounds raspy. I like it
I want it to keep it like that, but quieter. Trying to go for a sleeper apeal... My 3" hangs low, and I can't find any quiet muflers for that size.

and my tail pipes were custom made, which means ill fitting, and they bang against the diff and body.

I think going to an Xpipe with really restrictive muflers will help. And I'll run cutouts for the strip...
