supercharged v6

While it would certainly be a painstaking project, installing the 3.8l Supercharged motor in a G body would make a sweet ride IMO. I've had a number of Bonneville SSEI's, Grand Prix GTP's and Regal GS models over the years. Smooth power and great mileage, only about 2 mpg less than a stock 3.8. 240-260 hp in stock form, but there's probably another 50 hp to be had with exhaust and programming upgrades without destroying the driveability.

It's been done. There used to be a website for a G-body Cutlass with this swap, but the site went away with AOL Hometown or whatever it was called. In any case, use the 700-R4 from an S10 or F-body with the 2.8 V6. The other problem is that the throttle body on the back of the blower requires a hole in the firewall for clearance. Alternately, use the Ford version of the blower with the elbow at the back.

I did a lot of researching about doing a L67 swap in my Monte when I first got it, it would be pretty sweet, but with the amount of $$$ involved in doing it, it would be about the same, maybe even a bit cheaper, to go the LSx route.
