I'm helping my buddy work on his '89 (I think) Supra budget build... The stock inline 6 is toast so he picked up a............wait for it.........OLDS 350!!!
 He's pairing it up to a th400 from a caddy. he wants a decal that says "classy shifts"
We lowered it in the engine compartment tonight and it fit nice. Guys have done small block chevys, so he thought, why not olds. His other buddy is a welder, so they will fab up some motor mounts. that will be a tough job. Biggest thing is the driveshaft, I think.
Don't worry, he's not hacking up a nice supra, Ill just leave it saying he used a gallon of bondo on it... When the 6 was alive he gassed it in the mud and the inside of the rear window got all muddy
ANYWAYS..... He has a set of racing seats for it, and He said I could have the stock buckets If I want them. they have adjustable lumbar suppourt, headrest, and sides. They need recovered pretty badly, but they are pretty slick looking seats. Should I pick them up and just set them off to the side somewhere maybe for later??
