Supreme Headers

I have always had problems with gaskets, until i tried these copper ones.
My header flange at the head had a slight curve to it. I thought i was gonna have to flaten them of, but these copper gasket work great.

Best part is, they cant blow out. Even if you run with your header loose, the gasket will survive.

But you should still contact flowtech and tell them about the problem with fitment.

How old are your Flowtechs? I bought a set in 98-99 for my GP and they fit great[1 5/8 primaries, 3" collecter]. I had no problems with the gear selector or hitting the transmission. I bought a new set in 2005 when i did my 383 swap and i had the same fittment issues that you talk about, except for the gear selector, i went to a B&M Megashifter. The new ones were about 1.5" shorter on the driver side and 3" shorter on the passenger side. They are the same part # as the old ones, just bought from different places. 1st set came from JC Whitney, 2nd from Summit. I also had to lift the engine about 2" to get the driver side in, where the old ones did not require lifting the engine.
