Hey fellas, I asked about turboing my 231 the other day, what do yall think about this?

While I can afford that, how much more money and work would it be to complete the swap? I know I'd have to do some rewiring and some transmission work, but I'm no mechanic. My car is for sale, so I can swap in a $700 307 and easily double my $$, but if it takes 100 hours of work and another 500 to make it fit, I'll just 86 the idea altogether. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

That's way too much money to shell out for ANY 307 unless you really KNOW the guy that built it. You could get a 455 for the same if not less that would be more powerful.

Honestly, I don't think it would be worth the effort. Most people that buy these cars probably will end up putting in a bigger engine. Unless it is an engine worth keeping like a 350 or 455, people wont pay anymore money.
