Just a quick intro, My name is T Mack im from Detroit Michigan I own a 1987 Buick Grand National G Body with 25K original miles...

Im here because i was loking for some info and or help!!! :?:

I put a set of 20" Foose Wheels on my car and the fronts were rubbing when i hit big bumps....
I could not figure what to do so i ended up putting 1" spacers under the front coil springs and that fixed the problem....
the problem is i got wy more than a 1" lift its almost 2" and thats to much... Will it settle down some do you think?
Also i was wondering if i should do the same to the rear to make it sit even. Thx in advance... 😀

Has anyone else used these rubber 1" spacers??? :?:

I would say it in your springs but by judging the overall condition of the GN and looking at those brakes I'm sure you got new suspension all The way around. Car looks good man Nice work.

Ive had the car 20 years... The suspension is all stock.. I got the new 20" foose wheels and the stock brakes looked like sh*t behind the pretty new wheels!!! so i ordered the baer brake kit with drilled and slotted rotors..
it has new shocks but the springrs are original..

I see, but be aware when you replace the worn out springs they're gonna lift you up quite a bit that is if you plan to replace them. Most people go with moog springs for the stock ride height.

Good looking car still believe it will drive and look lot better with the stock GN wheels.. sum 18 inch torque will wrk without to much of wrk though .. as for the ones you got on it now I really dont know much to help you with it.. Nice looking car man .. and welcome ...
