I want to re-paint the black trim on the sides of my T-tops. above the door glass. Can anyone give me some tips? I'm sure this has been done. I'm pretty good with a rattle-can, and would just like to know what will look basically stock.

Thanks in advance!

Rattle can paint won't hold up as well to the sun/other elements.

If you don't have access to a paint gun, just drop them off at a local body shop and have them spray them semi-gloss black.
For how small the area is, I doubt they'd charge you very much, if at all...

But then I couldn't fix it myself. ; )

So semi-gloss is correct? I know it wasn't satin and thought gloss would look wrong.

Yes, semi-gloss is correct. Do NOT use clear over it.

I've also seen people paint them body color, but I prefer the stock look.
