i have actually been watching the salvage yards for a usable one for the last 2 years, they are hard to find!

A friend of mine had the opposite done to his 1984 Z-28. We bought a solid roof off a base Camaro and had it installed on his T top Camaro! The T-tops would never seal even with expensive GM weatherstripping and everything we could try to get it to not leak. So, the roof was changed and problem solved.

T tops are good for 2 things leaking and rusting out.

I have done it on a F-body.

We drilled out the welds,melted out the joints abd reinstalled the new like factory.

Take your time,measure and oh, measure agian.
