Taillight resto

Any one have any ideas on how to restore this taillight? Mostly the clear part. . everything else is pretty clean. . my passenger side light is toast.

Since your car looks like 81'-83' if your tail light is damaged you can also use 84' and up taillights if you buy a pair.

The driver side is mint..i found a passenger side on eBay but I'm weary of it.. afraid it will be in the same shape. I've bought items with "actual" pictures to turn out they weren't

I would look for a replacement locally on CL or somewhere else, and since many people like the look of the 84' and up they change out their 81'-83' taillights.

What's the difference between the 2? Never really paid any attention to it

The 84' and up look like the GN and have a chrome strip through the center but the lenses are designed for the strip and have a recess for it, but the whole taillight fits in place of the older years.
Plus they don't use the "Regal" script on there.
