You need to call the police and file a case against them in civil court. Don't wait any longer and get it done. That's BS they pulled that and if they were in your face like that, then it's time for a lawsuit. Dude, I'm 18 and I don't give a damn who it is, they are supposed to speak to you as if you were an adult. If not, then it's time to call the fuzz. What these old pecker woods don't realize is that not all of us young guys are complete idiots like a lot of them think.
Now I can understand a possible complication with running a 2.5 inch exhaust through a monte. I wanted the same thing in my malibu (exact same undercarriage). Problem is that you can only use 2.25 inch exhaust to go over the axle tubes cause the 2.5 simply won't clear. That's why I stood there the entire time when I had my exhaust done and criticized every little thing I saw wrong. So what they had to do to my malibu was put 2.5 from the headers to the flowmasters, then 2.25 over the tubes and out right behind the tires. But as far as they treated you, if I was there with you brother, I'd walk in there with you and raise hell. Take them to court and get the law involved.
I only paid 240 for my exhaust, and if your paying that much, I'll tell you right now that exhaust better be god damn perfect.

oh yea one more thing post it on craigslist in your city alot of people look for mechanics on there post it in the service repair section......my dad own's a business and we never treat our customer's like that ........ we would be stupid if we did... the customer's are the ones who pay my paycheck and g-body parts......but n-e-wayz....... let that business have it all the way bro.........good luck 8)

Wow, that is total BS, that Larry guy saw you as a young kid who didn't know any better and tried to take advantage of you. When you called him on it he got mad. The tech who yelled at you probably was the one who did the work. It's a$$hole's like Larry who give all honest hard working techs a bad name. I worked at this one place for one week when I quit because the owner was a real smooth talking con-artist, he'd rip off his own mother, and probably has. I was a tech for 10 years. I worked at Midas for about 2 yrs. I have done custom exhaust on all kinds of cars. Some are more difficult than others. Not knowing your emissions laws in your state my first concern would have been if the type of exhaust you wanted was legal.
That being said, I'll assume you don't have to worry about emissions. Any shop worth their salt would know it is very possible and easy to fit 2.5" tube and an "X"-pipe under your car. I have full length headers going back to an X-pipe to two Ravin mufflers and 2.5" pipe on my '87 GP. I bent it up myself when I was at Midas. Don't let this guy rip you off, get you parents involved if you have to but get his *ss to make it right.

Go back, and bring an parent/adult with you. They might be chicken sh*t enough to mouth off to a kid, but lets see what they do with somebody else there to witness it.

You can file a report with the police but they can't do much its really a civil matter, the better move is to probably locate an attorney. Preferrably if you know one who can offer you advice without the charge. An attorney will more than likely cost you more than the 750 you spent on the car but you should go to the county courthouse and get some paper work moving into civil court.
One of the other issues with this is that your car is now not smog legal. In order to be legal, it needs to have a single cat in the original location (if your area cares...). There could be nasty consequences involved if this thing goes too far. Unfortunately, I learned at an early age NOT to trust any shops. Most of them are only concerned with getting you out the door, and not with doing what you want. This is also why I will not just drop my car off and leave it. I usually pace outside the garage door and keep an eye on them. It sounds dick, but that way I can stop them from doing it wrong.
