Whats the tallest tire and widest tire i can run on a 15 inch rim without modifacations to the frame and fender wells?

I always ran 275/60 rear and 235/60 front.

thats what i'm running now too. i've used 295/50's before too though.

on a 10 inch wheel would i want 3.75in backspacing or 4.25 to run the widest tire possible.
ill get spacers if i have to

On a stock rim I've run 255-60. I don't think you can get a 10 under the regal without a frame notch
The wheelewlls are more narrow on 70-80 regals

I went to 245-60's after that because it would rub the frame on extreme corners. I suppose spacers would fix that

With a simple frame notch and a little fenderwell lip roll you can run 296/65/15 drag radial ie 29 tall.
