And!!! I recently acquired a 1979 Malibu Classic and installed a brand new air conditioning system. I was advised to install a toggle switch to manually control my dual fan setup, as the fans were intermittently shutting off. After a long drive in 88°F weather, I noticed that the air conditioning maintained a satisfactory cold airflow and the idle had stabilized. Given that everything is new, do you believe the extended drive contributed to this improvement, or could it be that the new compressor has settled in and is functioning optimally?
