OK before I start this is a little different and I'm sure most people will ask why I want to do this. Simple because it's different.

Anyway I picked up a fairly solid 85 El Camino with a TBI 4.3L in it that is locked up. I have a 307/TH350C I pulled out of a 83 Delta 88 last year, ran like a champ.
I could easily drop the 307 in the Elky but I'm thinking why not change it to TBI. I remeber there was an adapter to mount a TBI unit on either a square bore or spread bore intake, don't remeber which. All the plumbing is already there just a matter of wiring it up and swapping the injectors out for a pair for a 350 Chevy.

My question is what would be a good intake or possibly use the stock intake and where can I find the adapter to bolt on the TBI unit. I have to look again but can I use the Caddy fuel injection intake?

If you use an adapter stay away from CP Auto Products. I used one of their carb adapters and it was total junk. I've read about some older Cadillacs having fuel injected 307s but I think that was a different type of injection. The manifold made it look like it was direct port or something.

I think I found an adapter TD2208, TransDapt is not my first pick but if it will work.
Some of the older caddys did have EFI but it was pretty much a junk system.

The Cadillac intake was for multiport efi. You don't need it if your only going with tbi.

OK, it looks like the Transdapt adapter on the stock intake, stock 307 HEI with the connector swapped, full sized Chevy truck 305 ECM/prom and injectors, 89-90 307 knock sensor and module will get the system to work together.
