Swapped from idiot lights to gauges.

Anybody happen to have the part number i need for the temp sensor?

I got the oil sensor.that asked gauges or light but the temp sensor doesnt mention light or gauge.been many years since i played with these cars.

i swapped the warning light for gauges too. The thing is, on many cars there's no extra temp-sensos for gauges. the gauge is only set to switch on a light if a certain degree of currant/resistance is reached. I used the TS6 from Standard Motor Products, as it is specifically for gauges. It replaces a large amount of sensor units and works perfectly in my car. Just for Info: I put the gauge-sensor right next to the waterneck to get the reading of th highest temperature before water leaves the block to the radiator, while I put the switch for the electric fans int the cylinder heads on the left side of the engine. that way the fans will trigger before the heat gets critical 😉
