What is the normal temps on 700r4 transmission, and oil, just the other day i was just cruising, around town and my transmission temp hit 200 that dont seem right to me :?

That's probably about average. Do you have the trans fluid running through the stock cooler? Higher stall converter?
The TH-2004R in my '81 runs around 180*F or so on a hot and humid 95*F day. It runs through a stand along cooler.
My GMC truck runs around 160*F to 180*F depending on temp and load with the factory auxillary cooling setup.

i got a transmission cooler in front of my rad, i was thinking about putting a small fan on it but if you say that is the norm then I am not going to worry bout it, what is the temp that a person SHOULD worry bout it,.
