Yeah I'm gonna do the whole bumper tuck thing later on down the road once the car needs to be completely gone through again. Don't want to do any more body prep/paint work then I need to.
How's that new engine running? How's the new little one doing?
Little one is doing great! The engine is ok, but it might be suffering from a collapsed(sometimes, if that's possible) lifter.
That's good to hear. (About Inara not the collapsed lifter lol)
Lifters can do that sometimes. I've never had that problem before but have heard of it before with a rocker being overtightened.
Did you let them sit in a bucket of oil for a day? What I did was put them in a bucket of oil, took a pushrod and plunged each one of them to prime them with oil before putting them in the engine.
