You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the correct shift lever would you? (or both side to side)

Right now I have everything hooked up with the original stuff, P R N D 3 2 and 1st is missing.

Yup, I'll run out to the garage and snap a pic or two of the lever...what do you mean by 1st missing? I ask this because the shifters are different, if you are using the floor shifter from the 200C, you do not have the detent for 1st so if you do not change the shifter...1st will never be there. If you look in my photo album I have a pick from GM parts book of the different parts of the shifter.

Okay here is a pic of the shift lever, which should be the same on 200C & 200-4R.

And here is a pic of the detent on the non-overdrive shifter (note there is only 6 positions(P,N,R,D,2,1))

The only parts different between the two setups is:
Cable bracket on trans pan
Shift cable
Detent on shifter (arch shaped piece in pic)
Shifter cradle is different but can be easily fixed, the difference is in the position of cable end holder. (the piece that is part of shifter that holds the cable at the shifter, it is further forward by about a 1/4"-1/2". I had pics of shifters laid next to one another but can't seem to find it. But very minute difference between the two.

Let me know if this helps or if you need to know anything else

I'm trying to keep the column shifter, I don't have a floor shifter. I tried to adjust the rod so far but no matter where I put it low 1st was missing. Maybe it's the steering column not allowing me to hit low 1st.

Sorry I don't know about the column lever, I thought they were all the same there. I removed mine when I installed the 700r-4. They only sell one switch & the other part is the slider on firewall by column. Check and see if it is bottomed out at the firewall.
