Some 130 SI alternator swap info

Got a cs144 in my regal. Used the idiot light as the resistor.

I've found that I had to re-clock the alternator. Also, used a rear mounting bracket from a 3rd generation Camaro. (CS130)
I also had to swap out the wider pulley for a V-belt type.

I believe the same bracket from the Camaro was also on the Corvette and S10 trucks. Some Caddy, Buick, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile could be had with a 15 or even 27SI alternator but good luck finding that bracket. Here's a useful link: http://www.madelectrical.com/electricaltech/delcoremy.shtml
