You can buy a high stall. I have one that flashes at 2500 rpm sitting on the shelf.

Pretty sure mine is Hughes. I can let you have it for $5 plus shipping, which won't be cheap from here. It should be cleaned out, my TH250C lasted over 400,000 km, then died very quickly behind my 403 with this converter. I just have to make sure I still have it and didn't toss it.

There's a reason they don't make 2500 for the t350 trans it's going just a little too far. It's not that it can't be done; but it's not going to last very long and below 2300 works much better/ especially its going to last forever instead of a few weeks.

If running a stall this high was a good idea on a the th250 / 350c then why is this guy trying to basically give away his? see what I'm saying. It's going to be fun for weeks on end and then suddenly come to a grinding halt like chitty chitty bang bang... hf tho

:wtf: Where do you get your information? What basis do you have to support the contention that a 2500 rpm converter for a TH350 cannot last long?

The heavy duty converter from oragon is interesting me. How did you like it? Did it stall closer to 2000 or 2400 ??

I fried my TH250C, no TH350C's around other than the long tail sbc truck trans. I went back to a 2004R, so I have no use for that converter. Make sure you buy the 500 hp heavy duty converter from Oregon Performance Trans. I bought the 2004R converter from OPT supposedly good for 400 hp, my 8 to 1 Olds 403 imploded it at the track. The converter was rated at 2000-2600 stall, flashed at 2400.
