hey guys i got this transmission i was told it was a th350 chevy but at the top of the bell housing it is flat across not pointing up like a roof of a house can someone tell me what kind this is or where i can find a stamp I.D #
thanks..........g-body's

yea i got the camera but i don't know how to post a pic kid of weird here.......yea but i think its a bop but it has a long tail on it i wanted or still want to but behind a sbc 350 but i just don't know the internal my block is gonna put out about 330 to 350 hp plus this one has on the driver side a electic connector don't know whats that for.............do you?????

If there's an electrical connection on the driver side, than it sounds more like a TH400... and you want to use a short tailshaft version instead of the long tailshaft.

yea but i started to look at it closer and it might be where the kick down cable goes?????? ay can somebody tell me how to up load digital camera pictures that i have saved on my computer?????

TH400's have an electrically operated kickdown that plugs in on the driver side.

TH350's have a cable operated control on the passenger side.

The shape of the pan will confirm what it is.

Read the first two posts in the New Users section to learn how to upload pictures into your photo album.

thanks let me get these pic rolling well the pan has a cut on a corner so i would say a th350 bop i guess let me get some pic going...... 8)

The TH350 has a cut corner on the pan, and as blake442 said the TH400 has a electronic kickdown on the drivers side.

yea thats probaby what it is.............. i'll get a pic of it up hopefully by tomorrow thanks...........for the info........
