What are you planning on doing with the car? Just a street car or occasional weekends at the strip?

They make shift kits and multiple stages of reprogramming kits depending on what your needs are. The shift kits really just correct or prevent some of the late or hard shifting issues within the trans and let you take some control related to the firmness of the shifts. Shift kits really aren't difficult to install. I've always used the TransGo kits and have been impressed. Their instructions are straight forward, and results are noticeable. Reprogram kits are more labor intensive and wouldn't waste your time putting one in a street car.

Also a good idea to install a drain plug in the pan while its off.

Mostly a street car but occasionally take it to the track my issue right now that i dont like is it shifts through the gears fast would like for it to hold them out a bit and of course shift firmer
