Have a 383 pumping out about 550hp. 10.5 comp, Dart 215 pro1 platinum aluminum heads, Edy rpm Airgap and an 870 Street avenger also a GN rear with 3.90's. I'm not wasting more money on the 200-4r. It has nothing to do with the tv cable. I have BTO TV set up.Everything was fine then all of a sudden 1st gear slip and a real soft 1-2 shift. This last 200 lasted about 1 1/2 seasons and this is crap now too. so the 400 is already built and installed minus driveshaft. Go on the Turbo buick site in the transmission section, 90% of the threads are about a bad 200-4r !!!!

are you using a stock trans or did you get it upgraded? upgraded, i've seen them behind fast, high powered cars. i'm not even so sure a th350 would survive a steady diet of 550hp, especially if it's on the drag strip. and i even have doubts about the th400 in stock form.

Well I took a ride to Supershafts in Islandia and Marty and his guys hooked me up with a driveshaft. Let me tell you what a pleasure it is to drive the car and not worry about breaking anything in the trany or have the trany slip when I get on it. I wont miss the overdrive cause I really keep the car local. As far as the kickdown I got the B&m kickdown switch hooked to the carb.
