Glad to be here! Picked up my 84 Cutlass Calais in August. All original, garage kept its whole life, 68k original miles. I'm the third owner. Has buckets, console, Rallye dash and wheels, and an Astroroof. 307. I've been looking for a clean untouched car forever and this is my baby.

Where's the jealous emoji?
Nice ride!!!!

Thank you sir! It's almost an exact copy of the 82 Delta Royale Brougham my grandfather had that I learned to drive in. Colors are exactly the same. Second G Body I have ever owned. This car is such a highway eater. I have some work to do to it as the bugs from sitting are starting to come out otherwise it's perfect to me.

I've been looking for years for a clean unmolested car. They almost don't exist anymore. I accidentally stumbled across this on Craigslist, believe it or not.

Welcome aboard!
You scored a nice one there. It's getting harder to find nice original examples.
Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thank you! She could probably use a full repaint it was in a minor front end wreck a few years back and that's when her 92 year old owner stopped driving it. The mismatched paint shows in the sun. Roof and decklid are faded and need resprayed. Hard to think of getting a respray over the sides of the car though. At least there won't be much bodywork when it comes to that time. I have a thing for original paint...

I don't blame you for having a thing for original paint.... that's like finding the holy grail.
I think the car looks great overall. The roof and deck lid could probably be blended in without looking like it was repainted....but then again you have the mismatched front end paint.
Personally, I would enjoy the car as long as you can. Down the road you always have the option to repaint the whole car.

Again, it's nice finding a car with all the right equipment and options.
