saving 17$ a day, in 6 years you would pay for the car in savings.

How do you figure $17 a day?

I'd also like to see companies making plug-in cars start telling you how much juice they pull out of your wall and how much that will cost.

I've said my piece; each man should stand on what he says and believes and defend it himself. I will say that I didn't take it the way betcha did. I was merely trying to water down the flames, not defend anyone's comment.

I don't think 85 is out there running down bikers while delivering pizzas. He is probably just fed up with the jerks who live around here and ride down the highway on the back wheels at 100 mph while causing accidents without being involved in them personally. Since I drive a service truck, I see these idiots every day. Most of the sport bike riders around here have no respect for anyone else on the road and it gives all of us two wheelers a bad name. In Florida, bikers are less than 5% of the motoring public but represent over 12% of the AT FAULT accidents in the state.

The math doesn't lie. Most of those at fault are not riding cruisers and are not older than 30....

Anyway, as to the topic, I still hate the car.

I think he's bitter because they are getting better mileage than him.

For every careless biker, there's another driver not paying attention to anything on the road. It all balances out.

come run over me *******...

ever tried outstopping a 2007 Ninga with your 85? now whos more dangerous?

I can outrun you, out stop you, look better than you and get 70mpg.

My reference was exactly to those sportbike riders who cut people off and weave between two lanes of traffic almost hitting the two cars because they do not wish to wait at a light. And no, I don't actually do anything to try to kill or injure them, but if I see one weaving in between cars far enough behind me, I will narrow the gap between me and the car next to me and pace it, thus not allowing them to ride between us, and forcing them to actually follow the rules of the road. I do this only if there is enough space for them to slow down. I would not intentionally kill or harm someone, as it would haunt me until the day I died. I am very aware of my surroundings in a car, or the truck I actually drive every day. If you ride sanely, I have no issue with you. Again, I would not try to injure someone. They are not worth the time it would take me to go to jail, or the money it takes to pay for a good legal defense. Plus, it could damage my vehicle, which I value much above the idiot biker I may injure. Drive these roads every day like we do, and you would understand my high level of irritation. Yes, bikes are everywhere, but so are cars. Both must follow the same laws and should show the other equal courtesy. That goes especially for the ******* who almost crossed the double yellow line doing a wheelie the other day when I was in the opposite lane, and he was doing 70 in a 30. It also goes for the ******* who tears up my residential street every day when kids are out playing and hits the top of second.

Oh, and the father of a friend of mine died in a bike accident, so I am not without sympathy.

BTW, If I really wanted a car that could hold it's own with a bike, I would get an Ariel Atom.

It is a stock car that is legal in some countries that does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, has a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine and is not too expensive.
