About The Sonic Meet
The Sonic Meet is an event organized by automotive enthusiasts who not only make it their priority to support their local car scene but do so while also helping make a difference. All makes and models of cars are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
The Sonic Meet started 4 years ago as an informal cruise from the Philadelphia area to indulge in the mysterious and elusive Sonic Drive-In, which was not readily available in the immediate suburbs of Philadelphia at the time. The turnout for the cruise and meet was unexpectedly big, and each year since then the turnout has continued to grow beyond expectations. This year we have developed what was once something casual into much more, and without a doubt this year will be even bigger and better than ever.
As The Sonic Meet’s popularity continues to grow each year, we felt it was important to give back something and make some good of the event. This year The 4th Annual Sonic Meet will be supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We have raised money with thanks to our very generous event sponsors who will be on hand at the meet, as well as various other means of raising money including some very exciting raffle items which meet attendees will have a chance to win by purchasing raffle tickets at the event.
The meet is being held collaboratively by TriStateTuners.com and New-Sweden.com and with the wide variety of cars invited; no matter what type of vehicles you’re interested in you’ll find something new and different at The Sonic Meet.
Make-A-Wish volunteers will also be at the event, as well as the possibility of some of the “Wish Kids” who are a part of their wish program. Please represent yourselves and the car scene as a whole the best you can through your behavior at the meet, as well as getting to and from it.
100% of all proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to assist in providing wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
