I've seen articles about those for a while. The new Caprice's are going to be Police only - no public sales. That could change in a couple of years though.

It's too bad the Pontiac name vanished. The G8 was a beast.

yes the vice presidant oof the co i work for her husband has a g8 and its BADASS,, ls? whatever it came with and 6 speed.. i drooled over it when i went to there house lol i was like man this will fit right in my malibu

We had a few at our lot too. GM realized the value in the G8 platform and retained it through the Caprice. Too bad it's an LEO-only car right now. You're looking at 370hp. Those 18" steelies look bad-*ss on there too.

It is rear wheel. Have you ever driven a 5.3 fwd Grand Prix GXP? 303hp to the front wheels isn't anything to thumb your nose at either.
