Typical.....

"deploying the National Guard" Hooray for the morons who thought this one up.

The solution is easy if they really wanted to end it.

They are called speed bumps.

They just ended a long running local car cruise night for similar reasons. It was a great car cruise. They used to advertise that it was unofficially the largest weekly cruise east of the Mississippi.

Basically a few people couldn't keep it in their pants and had to fly out of the parking lot racing each other, or do burnouts at the stoplights surrounding the place.

So the local police basically gave the venue owners a choice to voluntarily end the cruise, or the township would forcefully end it.

2017 was the last year for it. The cruise ran for 20 years and all it took was a few goons to end it.

Lesson: Do your racing and your burnouts at the track, not cruise night.

LOL... don't attended Power Tour or Drag Week if this is how you feel. Each are a week of hooning by adults in really expensive cars. It is in our blood.

Power tour and drag week are meant for burnouts and racing. Cruise nights aren't for burnouts and driving like an *ss and endangering others because you want to be a show off. Racing on the street is selfish, asinine and dangerous.

Umm... so I take it you haven't done the "after hours activities" at either of these events?

Because doing rolling burnouts with trailers leaving checkpoints, and rolling burnouts outside of hotels/contests of speed in a muscle car aren't the exact same level of "stupidity"?
