Keep us informed & I'll try to make it down.
Its next weekend and then every 2 weeks, on that same day at night there is a show in North Versailles at the Mosite's that is more tuner based if the Jr. likes those as well

Back to the 50's was cancelled now it's back on. Only 64 and before cars. Something like 12k cars registered, but many of them are carryover from '20 which was cancelled.

I live semi close to the show grounds so I get a car show Infront of my house for the next 3 days from my kitchen.

And yesterday instead of working on my junk I helped one of the guys I've done drag weekend with. He hauled my 2+2 home last fall when the rear end blew up and I have used his mill.

He roasted the trans out of his 63 Bel-Air like a year and a half ago due to the body mounts being shot and it floating between gears. He put a new 80e in and decided to also redo the body mounts and tub the car to tuck 335's. It's a 5.3 on twins.

His other project Chevelle

Sat in the parking lot watching people do Hoon things down the road leaving the show grounds after hours.

Nice GN parked beside me. And a Cobra replica.

Did you see the 50 Willys gasser with the BBO?

No, or maybe I did but I didn't notice it.

I was there for 5 hours today with my wife and FIL. He has a bum knee and she has short legs so I didn't see as much as I used to. Snails place. Plus this show is huge and I heard there was 10500 cars that showed up and I totally missed probably 60-70% of the show.

Honestly the two things that caught my eyes were green Buicks. My problem is that I really don't like tons of chrome trim or really overstyled wing cars so I like some mid/late 40's and really early 50's stuff and the stuff right where they started to go into the more square styling in 62-64. Lots of street rods from 1986 that haven't been updated. Lots of tri fives, lots of t buckets.

A sweet Riv and a straight 8 special that had a ls cloned into a nailhead.
