The Generic Car Show & Cruise Thread (2023 Edition)

Probably the last we will see of that Vette for a bit, when it was pulling out my buddy thinks his throttle cable popped off cause it was spitting dirt and rocks everywhere and ended up riding the rail for a bit until he shut it off. My buddy thought he avoided the rail but I was pretty sure he was in it, when he pulled away after everyone ran up to check on him the whole fender was eaten up

Last night had a pretty large crowd. Most of the cars were regulars from prior weeks. A local FD holds one every Thursday night but the weather has been crappy all day. These were from last night. Didnt get a good picture of the red Mustang but its detailed to death. The El Camino is a little gaudy but the pinstriping was amazing. Its on marketplace. Supposedly its a SEMA car.

On the north side of Calgary is a shopping mall that held 'Show and Shines' on Wednesday nights. They were well attended by all vehicle makes and models. This 'hero' showed up last Wednesday and now we are done....

Yep, yet another example of a few bad apples ruining it for the rest of us. Such a shame in a city that has so few sanctioned car events to begin with. 😡

From the New England Oldsmobile Club show last Sunday. Some really great cars, never seen so many 4 speed Cutlass's and 442's in one spot.

The silver H/O is a 34,000 mile survivor and the two yellow cars are a husband and wife duo. The red w/gold won best of show, beautiful restoration. And the black H/O with the 17" wheels was running a healthy 403.
