The Generic Car Show & Cruise Thread (2025 Edition)

Went to a small show at the Ks Star Casino. I posted a few pics to the Spotted thread, here's the rest: IMG_20250503_143942354.jpgIMG_20250503_143535102.jpgIMG_20250503_143449879.jpgIMG_20250503_144218997.jpgIMG_20250503_143415456.jpgIMG_20250503_150709760.jpgIMG_20250503_145811740_HDR.jpgIMG_20250503_144250293.jpgIMG_20250503_145940014_HDR.jpgIMG_20250503_145958880_HDR.jpgIMG_20250503_145323619.jpgIMG_20250503_150845980_HDR.jpgIMG_20250503_152703688.jpgIMG_20250503_152330737_HDR.jpgIMG_20250503_152232837_HDR.jpgIMG_20250503_165620324.jpgIMG_20250503_165639307.jpgIMG_20250503_163218871.jpgIMG_20250503_160141179.jpg

Copper Colored engine with the identity ? is a nail valve Buick. The layout of the pipes on the headers are one clue, the skinny valve covers are another. This generation of Buick mills got the nickname because of the small heads on the valves. They were a good motor for their generation and in a light bodied rod could surprise a lot of so-called "muscle" cars of the era.

As for that '59 Cushman with the side box, now that would make a great pit bike, or something to scoot around on in one of the big swap meets, maybe Moultrie, or the one in Texas. The box would make a proper stash for parts scores or for a couple of cold wobbly pops. The price is not bad.......wonder how original it is? Only deal killers are that it is way too far away for a day trip or excursion and I am maxxed out for accommodation space.

I get the dig, though my personal humor is notable for its absence. Just wish the location had been closer.

no dig, I know you like bikes/scooters like that! as for Pate, no scooter riding allowed during swap hours. you either walk or you ride an electric scooter like below. I've thought about renting one of those as just to cover Pate is 2 solid days of walking. the scooters allow you to sit whenever, and since they're full height they let you easily stand up from that position.

I noticed the Buick pipe layout also and had never seen this one before, just like the Packard Thunderbolt. never saw one before that one.
