Just wanted to share my latest project! My buddy Bill has owned this car for years and has enlisted me to do an LS swap. He bought an 04 GTO six speed several years ago and has been saving it to do an LS swap on this car. He saw my 2+2 and graciously let me use his paint booth and in return so an LS swap in this Grand Camnio! Wanted to see what you all thought...will keep you informed. Probably will need need advice on the clutch pedal installation. If anyone has done this job or good info on the web, help me! Thanks!

Those tail lights are an abortion. Otherwise the conversion is decently executed. Good luck with the swap.

I like the concept and execution overall. The black above the windshield is an unusual touch but seems to work. At first glance I thought maybe it had T-tops. Seeing under the hood, it's no wonder he's ready for a swap -- of any kind.

Probably not how i would have done them either but the shape is pretty reminiscent of a thirdgen Firebird. Maybe if they were higher in the tailgate and it had a molded bumper the proportions would be different.

It does look like it was nicely done. I would've kept the A-pillars body color and the forward section of roof as well.
I like the way he blended in the header panel into the fenders.
The jury is still out on the taillights. Overall, I think it's a pretty cool car.

I really like the one that was done with a Grand Am frontend, trim, etc.

The engineers at GM blended the front fenders to the doors and header. It's a factory design.
Nice Le Camino.
Looks like the dash was done as well. Most people dont go that far.

Dare to do different, love the custom touches. Rounding off the tailgate corners(now I wish I did that to mine) the 88-99 truck door handles (did that to mine) Eliminating the rear side marker lights. Nice car
