As many casual eBay users know, when times get tough the tough get going—on eBay. eBay is a great place to earn extra cash using garage-sale-style tactics, and now a financially strapped state, California, is also getting in on the action.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided the time is ripe to begin selling the state's vehicles, furniture, computers, and various other kinds of items on eBay in the "Great California Garage Sale," a bid to raise sorely needed cash. Given the budgetary tough times faced across the country, could other states be quick to follow?
