Okay, I just stumbled on this thread. It's a Mitsubishi, but this guy has some....uhhh...issues in how he modifies cars. Check out the cut and weld clutch disc, the drilled flywheel, and "unique" use of diamond plate. This thread is international and has over 1,000,000 hits!!! I also love the artistic use of fisheyes in everything he paints!

That thread certainly made me feel better about my mechanical knowledge .

I thought at first it was a hoax - nobody would be that bad - then I got to the clutch....

Amazing...

"The Spanish Tuner" LOL! He really needs to find a new hobby, because he just ain't too good with anything mechanical. I wouldn't let him "tune" my string trimmer 😱

Sure seems like they spent a lot of money on some good components, but just everything they touched with their grubby fingers immidiately turned to sh*t

C'mon now, doesn't everyone buy cheap Chinese knock off turbos? I know I'd sure trust a Chinese knockoff of a product capable of showering the insides of my engine with shrapnel. Plus, hacking and welding two clutches together is the latest rage. Why buy the right clutch for your super-popular import engine when, with an angle grinder, a drill and a MIG welder you can make one with the parts you have lying around! It's not like it is at all dangerous to have an unbalanced part spinning at 7,000rpm that also is tasked with 100% of the power of the engine! Also, why waste money on a scattershield. Real men don't need legs...or nuts.
