and a lil vid

I like the paint scheme. Helps to make it look less ordinary and since it was not an original SS you did not deface anything. Props on the paint & bodywork. Do you have any pics of it with those SS Monte wheels on it with the current paint?

yup, great guy, hows his shop? big place?

Don't really know. Never been to his shop as I never had the need/opportunity to buy from him or get out there. I have been to his house met his wife & know much of his family. He offered to buy one of my parts cars but I parted them out myself instead. Mikes Montes has a ring to it and its where he started but I always though it would make sense to have a name etc that made some kind of reference to having parts that fit other g-bodies. I am sure there are guys looking for parts for their El Camino, Malibu, Cutlass etc that he has that never think to shop him for parts because they never looked past the name. I don't think he has much other than g-body parts either. Hey you ever get to make a pass down ye ole 1/4 mile since getting her put together?

I've dealt with Mike as well. Definitely a good guy. Never met him but I bought a reconditioned SS steering box off him for my Cutlass.

I agree the name may throw people off but if you really know G-bodies, you know which parts can be used across all models and shop accordingly. 😉
