People here sell their cars for a good price up to thousands just for a gbody in primer no engine or trans, or they will sell them for thousands with good paint or decent with no engine or trans, I should have went with something a little more easier like one in primer but when I call people about them they never answer or never call back so I just give up.

The guy I got this from actually called back talked to us, but i think he was so generous because he knew he would and could rip us off.

I feel stupid everyday cause my family tell me I did a dumb thing I am stupid but I like the car just hate I have to put money I don't have into a car just to make it safe and drivable.
thats pretty much what i will have in mind when ever ama buy a used car to be prepared to drop some dime unexpectedly could be the next day

The one Maaco paint job that I have seen myself in person was terrible. It was the most expensive one they offered, but the entire car had orange peel.

If you are willing to do some work yourself it might turn out ok. I also heard that different Maaco's do better work than others, so you might want to ask around or poke around on the net for the best one in your area.

I don't even know if they include a clearcoat. I would look into that

Do not expect a high quality paint job from Maaco, especially for $200. Years ago (about 14) I used to own a Cutlass. I did the body work myself and paid extra for the clear coat and some other options at Maaco. My total bill was about $600; it was decent enough, but I know that long term the paint would not last. I sold the car soon after so I can't tell you how it actually wore as time went on. Paint is expensive; even cheap paint is expensive. For example, I used Summit's basecoat/clearcoat system on my GP. Total for materials was in the $300-$400 range. A $200 paint job includes only the cheapest of cheap materials and minimal coverage. If you do go this route, I would suggest going down to your Maaco and talking to them first. Look at some of their work and find out what it costs for a similar job. If you want it to look halfway decent, make sure to do as much prep as possible. For $200, they pretty much scuff and shoot.
BTW, what are you going to do about your frame rails?

Were going to ride up there and just ask how they prep and what they will all do for the car and the over all service.

The guy who is going to fix the car is going to take the whole rear end and swap it with a rust free and better frame.
Hes going to give me dual exhaust, brand new bumper, hes going to cut the whole Quarter panel off with all the dents and the hole and weld a better one on, hes going to cover up the rust on the trunk and primer the spots with the closest red he can find so it isn't patched with Black or gray primer while the car is red.
Hes going to do this all for 1600 but we can pay him in payments.

That's a lot of work for the amount of money charged. If he does a good job, that's a steal. When you say cover up the rust in the trunk, is that surface rust? If so, make sure to use a rust neutralizer and encapsulator. Don't just paint over rust, it will come back to haunt you. Check out Eastwood.com for rust treatment products.

I know that's why I am happy I found him he does great work, I have seen his work.
I will look at that page and tell him about it, thank you so much.

You're welcome and good luck with the project.
