As said, the mini spool is a bad idea. My No Slip broke and turned into a mini spool. Corners were a bit violent, parrell parking was the most violent driving experience of my life, that is when I figured out it had turned into a mini spool. Everyone complains about the lack of power with the swirl port 307, they did back then as well, doesn't help being 30+ years old and new V6 cars with massively better gearing now having 300+ hp and slightly more torque than the 307. I would buy Yukon spider gears instead. The stock spider gears are soft, mine exploded horsing around on the street with my 403, took out the pinion gear.
Ok so with everyone saying not to use a spool on the streets, I've scrapped that idea and now I'm looking for a posi.
The 455 is out of a 72, which I know isn't as great as some of the older models but I think it'll see be plenty of fun.
