The Spotted Thread

They replaced the drivers side glass in this one and put a new hood on. Body is pretty straight, aside from some nasty rust on the sides of the roof. The more I see the car, it’s growing on me.

Went to a Prostick race and this was there. Believe it has a Lenco installed. I tried to catch a couple of pics with wheels up through the 60’, but my camera skills weren’t up to the task.

This GTO was a show car in Prostick clothing - 5.89 dial that I didn’t see him miss by more than .02 seconds at least 5 times.BC1C7EB9-D155-4D70-97E7-5B54626C998C.jpeg8BD66398-53BA-42C8-AAB5-DF7964C4ED64.jpegBAFED418-8AD3-4166-90DE-6C3CD59164CF.jpegE926C8AC-679C-4BDB-B2EC-070BE697BA7E.jpeg

Ya don't hear too much about Lenco transmissions anymore. They were all the rage in the late 70"s/ early 80's. I always thought they were a great idea but I'm sure there are more modern transmissions out there today to take their place.

went into the back of a rundown business center with the rollup doors because a hotrod shop was supposed to be back there. didn't see the name on the door, but further down I spotted an old 1977-79 Mercedes station wagon (not even sure I've seen one of those!) and a favorite of some of our members here, a station wagon! (but probably not the station wagon you're expecting :blam: )
