Follow up to my post earlier about the 66 Chevelle. Here’s how great these aftermarket a.k.a. “reproduction“ door assemblies are
it's tough taking advise from a fish about how to catch a fish..It isn't any better with parts for "new" stuff either. This is on a 2017 Sierra. Insurance rep actually told us previously that not only are the aftermarket sheet metal parts as good as OE, they're "better than OE because they have a better warranty" Be funny if it wasn't so sad
How crazy was his mullet?Saw this shackled-up Mustang while searching for a good spot and I might've waited just a bit so I could hear it fire up.

Drove out to Downingtown Pennsylvania to get some sway bars and other stuff from "Chris Parts" (fb marketplace handle) goes by CGimbel on gbodyforum. The guy is one of a kind. He salvages and parts out probably a dozen cars a year... he literally had seven aluminum core supports on hand and as many sets of heavy sway bar for G-Body. Every spot of the property is another discovery. He has a wall shelf filled with 200-4R (a dozen or more) of desirable RPO code labeled... some are from Monte Carlo SS others are from 442 others are for Turbo Buick.
Everything is for sale including this 1980 Cutlass wagon with 39,000 original miles on a 260 SBO. Must have been kept under a carport because the dash and the seats are not cracked. If I had found this car at any time before I found my Monte Carlo and my Cutlass notchbacks, I would have bought this. I have seen more wagons on Chris's property than I have seen on the marketplace
Hard to tell- he was wearing a hat so it couldn't be too respectable. Seemed like a nice guy though. How crazy was his mullet?
