The Spotted Thread

Fixed, finally ran out of free space on Photobucket

Saw a monte at DQ. It was insanely clean. There wasn't even a spec of rust.

Nice T-Type in Nacogdoches, TX. Second time I've seen this one, need to find out who owns it.

saw yours tonight! should have came over and checked it out but I kept forgetting lol. good runs tho

Hey that looks familiar! What were you in? Definetly shoulda came over and said hi. It was doing ok but I wasn't happy with it, something felt off. Had a hunch but confirmed it on my last pass, transmission slipping. I was bouncing off my rev limiter in 2nd gear only 2/3 of the way down the track, normally i'd only be at the top of second at the end of the track.

I was in that new gen blue GTO. That was the first time being at that track and compared to muncie's track, baer's track sucked. I only had 2 test runs until I had to go back to that Sunoco and fuel back up and once I got back they were already starting classes. My only really good time where I hooked up well was my last run against that one fox body where he would do a burnout down the whole track. with that being said, I had a really good time down there, I had fun. I'll probably be back there again friday with a group.

I guess if i would have read your sig, i would have remembered you had a GTO, lol. Traction is the biggest issue there, my drag radials wouldn't hook at all, so I went straight to a slick. I was still spinning a little. I wish I could say i'd be there Friday but there is really something wrong with my transmission now. I've had a great time every time I went(came home with a broke car twice now!), and I hope to be there a lot next year.
