Hey now, I'm part redneck and spent half my life in trailer parks- that's where all the fast Iroc Zs are! Much of my childhood was actually spent in an old Airstream as I bounced from state to state with my grandfather (the double wide stayed at the canoe rental he owned), and we'd regularly stay at fleabag motels that charged by the hour just for the added leg room. He also owned/ operated a trailer park at one time and I worked there for many years setting up sewer lines, pulling poison ivy, gutting trailers, etc. when I wasn't saving him from diabetic shock or another heart attack. My life story screams trailer park in all caps.especially the high class ones in the DOUBLE wides when all you got is a singlewide......
my uncle, the family tree researcher, told me one time he was in Mississippi on business and decided to check out the area not far away that his grandfather had migrated from in the 1880s to Texas...... said he never saw so many trailer homes on dirt roads with the family name on a lot of the mailboxes........ great, we're related to rednecks..... 😒 🙄
I've never had roaches but would be ecstatic to have a double wide trailer since it beats living with family, and any other money would go to the shop where most of your time is spent anyway. I'd live in a van if I had a shop to park it inside. The cost of home ownership is outrageous and the system isn't set up for a person to succeed, so my next home just may be mobile.
