Eventually I would like to make some aluminum door panels for my Monte. What would be the thinnest and cheapest insulation/sound deadener to put behind it? I don't really want to use ice and water shield because I've heard it will smell like asfault. Also, do I need something like the paper vapor shield behind peel and stick mat?
