For starters, yes those little dogs are so ****ing anooying lol, my neighbor has some, and every morning i walk out it sounds like somebody's over there stepping on puppy's.
Second, On the subject of tuners, a few weeks ago i was at a local car wash hanging out with a few friends of mine, and two cars rolled up, one being an 80's something none SS monte carlo, respectable, and some kind of tuner thing, here's the fun part. They BOTH had a punch of those odd-shaped holes cut into the hood's with the chrome trim around the holes, and blue neon lights under the hood :| Needless to say, the monte carlo had so many stickers on the back window, that you literaly almost couldn't see though it. And as for the probe, or whatever kind've car it was, the guy was trying to say his car could run 11's on the quarter mile lol, And when i looked under the hood the very MOST he had done to this thing was of course, a "cold air intake" and some neon lights, and maybe a few other CLIP ons lol. So i invited him to put his money where his mouth is, he never took me up on the offer but i'd like to see what his car would really do on the quarter mile, i know fora FACT my monte would smash on his little rice-eater.
Back to transmission-missions. lol.
No my 700R4 isen't on its way out, its in beautifull condition, with less than 2k miles on it. I'm just looking for something with alittle more bang. The only problem i've had with the 700 so far was the govonor, and i rebuilt that.
As for the drive-shaft, my buddy has a garage FULLLLL of parts, three garages actually, and a basement, he races allot and has allllllot of spare parts, especialy for G-bodys considering thats all he runs on the track. He's got the A-arm sets from an Areocoop and about 6 drive-shafts just laying around, all different lengths and most of which from a G-body. As for the mount, i have one of those adjustable sliding mounts. And i also have multiple possitions to mount my crossmember.
