Tires rubbing the frame on my 86 regal

i have weld draglites that appear to be 15x10 on the back of my 86 regal with P275 50 R15 tires on it. im unsure of the offset. i have wheel spacers on it and they still rub, any thoughts/advice on what i should do?

Ditto, and you shouldn't have more than 4.5" BS. Even so, the wheel/tire will stick out a little at that width.

15x8 with 4" backspace for 275 is as good as its gonna get! no more than 4" IMO.

Those will work - I bought the generic "Summit" wheels and they seemed exactly the same.

awesome. yea i was checking out the summit draglite style as well, if i was getting all four id probably go for those. i was checking out these tires too http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BFG-57931/ my father has a set of 15x8 rims with mastercraft 255 60 r15 tires on his 87 monte ss and they seem to clear everything nicely. im going for the bf goodrich because i have radial t/a's on my fronts.

a word of warning,
275/50/15s will bulge more than 275/60/15s due to the shorter sidewall being squeezed over equivalent wheels.
along with you 10" wide wheels, I believe this may also be causing you problems.

you'll feel more comfortable with 15x8 wheels and 275/60/15 tires. But to be safer, I'd say 255/60/15s are a better bet, and look almost the same.

yea the 15x10's tires were rubbing the frame big time, they were getting cut up by the fender too. do you think ill need wheel spacers with the new rim/tire combo?
