For anyone who is using the TKX with the shifter in the original Tremec position, what handle did you use?
 
For anyone who is using the TKX with the shifter in the original Tremec position, what handle did you use?
I made my own handle out of 1/2" aluminum plate. I needed it to come back about an 1"-1 1/4" to clear the console.

It took 2 tries to get exactly the angle of the dangle that cleared and was comfortable

Here's a picture with the console bracket, you can see how it comes up above the shifter stub. That's why I needed the 'dog leg' to clear

Is the shifter in 1st/3rd in this photo? Looks great!
I ended up buying this:
I built my own console, so I can put the hole wherever I need it. I did some sketchy measuring and came to the conclusion that the shifter would come through pretty much in line with the ignition switch. Does that sound about right? Thanks for the pics.

In the earlier pic without the boot and ball, its in 1st or 3rd. The pics with the boot and ball are in neutral, but that's with the second, straighter handle.
