Good morning forum members.. I would like to take this time to salute all veterans !!!!! Members, family, or friends.... Without your Patriotic Commitments this would not be the " BEST NATION " to live free and with all of the freedoms that enjoy today.... All gave some but some gave all !!!!!!! Please do not forget our true American heros today !!!!!!! I say " THANK YOU " and a big salute to all of our military personal past and present !!!!!!!

I want to thank my Dad who passed in 2015, for his 8 year service to our country in the USAF. Miss ya pop...……

Just returned from our local Remembrance Day event and I was happy to see it was a very well attended event.
It has been 100 years since the end of WW1. It was neat that again this year they had a couple of replica Bi-wing planes fly overhead to mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month during the service.

It is also very touching that every year they place thousands of tiny Canadian Flags around Sunnybrook Veterans Residences to mark the day and show just a little respect to those whom laid their lives on the line so we could enjoy the freedoms that so many take for granted today.

Natasha and I were Remembrance Day presenters at our kids' school/daycare on Friday. Did a Q&A period, and we took in a bunch of gear for the kids to try on. We left with a trunk full of art - some of which will end up back at the office on display. Kids need to know why we have what we have.
