I remember that thread well. I can understand why he wanted pictures. If you've ever designed something, it helps to immerse yourself in the environment. Sometimes what seems like a good idea on paper doesn't seem practical in real life for serviceability or access or clearance etc...

I can see what they did to reduce cost. But the product doesn't look perfect to me (I'm picky). I was trying to see if it's "engineered" or "fabricated". They have some clever stuff going on in the chassis but i don't know the details of how its been validated or tested or what was involved in a design.

Lots of hours in it for sure to get to that point. That's no easy task.

yes I have designed things and for a chassis I would buy one to use as a mock up. Since they were building a performance chassis why would they not spend $4-500 to have a real chassis to work with. Asking guys on a forum for measurements and pictures is mickey mouse. I have helped to build jigs to fabricate a frame for a pro late model circle track car and we used measurements to build it

Looks like there was a post in their initial thread showing a photo of a Cutlass as their updated donor car. I wonder if they're using the chassis from that car for their measurements?
