torque converter lockup control install HELP please

im so close to havin my monte ready to run. but im tryin to install a b&m lock up kit and there is a pin that retains the valve that puts fluid pressure to the converter clutch and i cant get it out to revove the springs like B&Ms instructions say to, anyone know how to do this, its a 700r4 also. thanks

well b&ms instructions were not all that clear but i figured it out at least that part of it, its out of an ecu controlled car so the spring i thought i had to remove is not there, the intructions were just plain cofusing, and wasted about 2 hours wrench time and caused lots of frustration. now i ijust have to find a hot ignition switched source to tap into, and tap into the brake light switch and that will be complete. if i make my goal of havin this thig back up on the road by the 4th it will be a miracle.
